Recently, an event which showcased the intangible cultural heritage crafts from Rangtang County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, was held at Beihai Park, Beijing.

This exhibition featured 22 categories and over 500 items, such as traditional Thangka paintings, gold and copper statues, wood carvings, stone engravings and Cham masks. Notably, innovative artworks that combined Thangka with porcelain painting were presented for the first time. Among these exhibits, the porcelain panel paintings that integrated Jingdezhen porcelain techniques with Rangbala Thangka painting stood out as particularly remarkable.

The event also included multiple interactive areas where industrial artists and inheritors of intangible cultural heritage demonstrated skills such as Thangka painting and Tibetan incense making. This created an immersive cultural experience for attendees. Visitors had the opportunity to witness the production process firsthand and to engage in face-to-face communication that deepened their understanding of the stories behind these techniques and the rich culture they embody.
