The sika deer farm in Nyangbo Township, Kongpo Gyamda County, Nyingchi City, Xizang, is the first large-scale high-altitude ecological deer breeding base at an elevation of 4,000 meters. Kelzang Dromo, a local university graduate majoring in Animal Science at Xizang Agricultural and Animal Husbandry University, decided to return to her hometown and participate in the high-altitude ecological deer breeding industry. She is responsible for overseeing the daily management of the base. With the support of the party and government policies, this base has been established. The surrounding roads are nearing completion, leading to a steady increase in villagers’ incomes and effectively providing employment opportunities close to home. This policy-driven initiative not only enhances the livelihoods of residents but also enables young graduates to apply their skills while contributing positively to their hometown.
